Emma Craig Jewellery

Biography

I design & hand-make small collections of contemporary jewellery, using 100% recycled silver, and gold, alongside a variety of beautiful semi-precious stones. I've designed and made jewellery collections for the London based fashion designer Margaret Howell for 25 years. The collections have been retailed in the UK, Europe and Japan.

I studied silversmithing and metalwork BA at Camberwell College of Art in London, before setting up my jewellery workshop in 1996.

I have a passion for beautiful stones, particularly unusual semi-precious beads from around the world, which I buy from a handful of trusted suppliers. I only ever use conflict-free, ethical stones.

My background in silversmithing is evident in the way I work, from the techniques used to shape and form my jewellery, to the process-led, yet decorative hammer marks that have become my trademark finish.
